You have to tell us where/in which context you are getting this error for further assistance.
I'm a volunteer participant and unless stated otherwise my views are not necessarily those of climateprediction.net or its participating institutions.

re error1324

Postby alantt » Wed Feb 15, 2006 3:13 am

Hi...sorry I didn't give any info...
I can download the climateprediction file but when I hit the "run" button the BBC Climate Change Experiment - Instellshield Wizard starts
I then get the Error 1324 box and a box thats says "InstallShield Wizard Completed"
" The wizard was interrupted before BBC Climate Change Experiment could be completely installed"
"Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again"
"Click Finish to exit the wizard"
when Finish button is clicked screen returns to normal...

I have tried running setup on over 5 times but get the same error message every time

does this help
Thanks
Alan

What is the system you are installing this on?

Processor, RAM, Operating system, hard disk space.

If you do a google search for "error 1324", you'll come up with a bunch of hits, that may, or may not help troubleshoot this problem.

Yes, there are a lot of Google pages.
"Invalid character".
I wonder if the BBC server is timing out because it is overloaded?
