Super Computer Rankings - Combined CPDN TeraFLOPS

Looking at Boinc Stats I see that it is indicating the the "combined" super computer that is "CPDN" is operating at 66.8TerraFLOPS.

If you compare this to the "Top 100" list of world super computers here http://www.top500.org/list/2007/06/100 you find that "we" are the 8th most powerful super computer in the world.

Makes me feel quite good that!

Of course many government machines are probably secret, but we must still be right up there with the biggest.

(by the way SETI@Home is rated at 256.6TeraFlops - making it the 2nd largest in the world)

Folding@Home's network of PS3s is said to be at the one-petaflop level, which would probably make it #1.

The 'storm worm' botnet may represent an even larger system:
